In this Halloween story twin witches are sitting putting a spell on the trick or treaters with a smelly sock spell BUT when a baby bootie falls into their spell something happens and not only changes the spell into good but changes them back into babies

Because of this book, Kyle wants to play witch twins with me and talk in witchy voices and make brews, or just be generally mischievous I love the ending who knows, maybe they ll grow up a little bit nicer this time Because, it s not quite a moral, the witches are hating being loved by a kindly old lady who forces them to wear pink Just a little wonky, and I heart it.

I loved the artwork and the story was cute The ending was a little weird but it worked This isn t one that I want to add to my collection but it is a good one to check out from the library, especially for Halloween.

A little long so better for slightly older children A pair of witch twins cast a spell using dirty socks that makes the children say smell my feet instead of trick or treat.

Twin witches, Delia and Ophelia, love to trick the neighborhood kids They have something special cooked up for Halloween For two weeks they ve gathered stinky socks, which when added to their potion, will make the kids only say, Smell my feet, instead of Trick or treat Their plan works brilliantly no one will give the kids candy , until by accident a pink baby bootie is added to the cauldron Suddenly pink smoke fills the house and the twin witches are turned into babies All they can sa Twin witches, Delia and Ophelia, love to trick the neighborhood kids They have something special cooked up for Halloween For two weeks they ve gathered stinky socks, which when added to their potion, will make the kids only say, Smell my feet, instead of Trick or treat Their plan works brilliantly no one will give the kids candy , until by accident a pink baby bootie is added to the cauldron Suddenly pink smoke fills the house and the twin witches are turned into babies All they can say is, Goo goo ga ga An old neighbor adopts them Maybe they ll grow up a little nicer this time What an unexpected story I was first surprised with the socks being part of their potion, and again when they turned into babies The pictures have the look of paper pieced together Quite a funny story to see the trickster witches get their comeuppance
