I think this book is a hype considering I knew about 80% of the things sameer is trying to convey I found negative energy flowing out of this book I had already given my GMAT one year before this book was launched and even got an admit in top 20 I had to defer my admit so in a free time I decided to read this book to have a insiders perspective But sameer talks about what mainly is hugely out of context and I didn t find anything which was like new to me All the links, books which he shares I think this book is a hype considering I knew about 80% of the things sameer is trying to convey I found negative energy flowing out of this book I had already given my GMAT one year before this book was launched and even got an admit in top 20 I had to defer my admit so in a free time I decided to read this book to have a insiders perspective But sameer talks about what mainly is hugely out of context and I didn t find anything which was like new to me All the links, books which he shares with us I knew it earlier even though I had no prior knowledge about GMAT At times it just seems he has taken info from Google and just organized it

I picked up this book after perusing information about MBA s on the Internet and I think that this book does a great job of synthesizing many aspects of an MBA to ultimately answer if it is necessary The main point of this book is that blanket advice about whether it is good for you or not, whether to just apply to the top schools, and so on is not adequate and that choosing to pursue further education in this method is very individual specific One must objectively look at their current situat I picked up this book after perusing information about MBA s on the Internet and I think that this book does a great job of synthesizing many aspects of an MBA to ultimately answer if it is necessary The main point of this book is that blanket advice about whether it is good for you or not, whether to just apply to the top schools, and so on is not adequate and that choosing to pursue further education in this method is very individual specific One must objectively look at their current situation, look at the necessity, and consider the financial implications and future implications of pursuing an MBA An example of this would be in conducting a list of schools to apply to Many factors have to be inputted, such as cost, length, class size, post career options, and so on that may cross of some schools that are within the top 10 rankings Additionally, there is plenty of tangible resources towards the end about the application process and so on The writer is very funny and makes many different jokes during the book and really tells things how they are He does not sugarcoat things and lifts the rosy image that many of us have on the outside looking in A great read and a resource for everyone
