I was given this book for an honest review.I m going to get straight to the point with this one If you like swashbuckling adventure set on the high seas, packed with action and topped off with a healthy dash of romance then this is the book for you.Molly September, whose late mother was a Lady and father was Rafe September rud to be Pirate and thief, is home from where she was schooling in France Her aunt and uncle are trying to organize her fortune and future husband but Molly is having n I was given this book for an honest review.I m going to get straight to the point with this one If you like swashbuckling adventure set on the high seas, packed with action and topped off with a healthy dash of romance then this is the book for you.Molly September, whose late mother was a Lady and father was Rafe September rud to be Pirate and thief, is home from where she was schooling in France Her aunt and uncle are trying to organize her fortune and future husband but Molly is having none of it.Molly not being quite a lady finds herself in the company of Dick Prentiss, a man who she is immediately drawn to and who also knew her father well Dick knows something about how Rafe died Molly is willing to bide her time to find out but Dick will do everything he can to protect Molly from finding out After landing themselves in a bit of trouble and backed into a corner Molly takes her life into her own hands and joins Dick as he leaves Port Royal aboard the Jealous Mary bound for Tortuga and a whole lot of trouble.Molly is exactly the type or heroine I love For the time period that this was set in Molly was expected to look pretty and marry well but she was strong smart and sassy and chose her own path She was a tough girl and what she couldn t do in brawn she made up for with her brain.Dick is the sort of hero that is full of flaws but owns them, full of charms and uses them and full of wit which comes out in some great one liners He is a bit older than Molly which I initially had a bit of issue with but Molly is strong enough that it works and once I got into the book it really didn t matter to me and actually added another element to the story. The crew of the Jealous Mary are thieves, lairs and cut throats who are grumpy as hell, loyal to a fault and so much fun to read about It was good getting to know each of them them and seeing how each person interacted with Molly.I could go on and on about how much I loved this book, about how I lost myself in the story and how I laughed out loud many times I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good action adventure read. This is a well thought out story obviously written by someone who loves this genre Full of pirate talk, wenches, fighting and drinking with cannons blazing and sails flapping this is one amazingly enjoyable yarn.A thoroughly enjoyable ride worth the price of admission.I rate this book The perfect 10 One of the best books I ve ever read I m now a prune monster Reviewed by Brienne Dubh escapology Reviews

It s a good thing I got this book for free through Goodreads First Reads because I would be upset if I actually spent money on it I guess this genre just isn t my cup of tea The language was too rough, and the plot was lacking substance I actually couldn t finish it.
